| What is this group for? This group is dedicated for the process and art form called inking, both for digital and traditional. What is this groups goal? We seek to improve, learn and share our knowledge regarding this process and art form. So what is inking then? Ok, we are not talking 'bout tattoos here  Inking is the process where a penciled/draft work is then made to be permanent using an ink (digital or traditional). Tools of trade? Anything that can be used to ink. Traditional : Ink, Dip Pen Nibs(Maru, crow, G-pen, School), Drawing Pen, Ball Pen, Gel Pen, Brush etc. Digital : Digitizer/ Graphics Tablet , Drawing Software (Gimp, Sai, Photoshop, etc.) The Rules : Without further ado the group rules (in a nutshell)  Be respectful and courteous.Everything you do in this group should be commanded by this two virtue. Specially that of courtesy. I will not explain this but please show courtesy towards your fellow member, admin, watchers, etc... Deviation Submission rules; Anything that is not an ink work will of course NOT be accepted. Anything heavily copied/ reference/ traced from another persons copyrighted works are NOT ALLOWED. Fanarts are ok, as long as you said it is fanart. All Fanart goes to Fanart folder. Submit to CORRECT Folder, any confusion ask in the correspondence ticket or send a note. About quality - those of beginning and learning work should go to Learning To Ink folder.The Folders So Far Tutorial: Traditional - Tutorial for traditional inking Tutorial: Digital - Tutorial for digital inking Inked Digital - Those done using traditional inking Inked Traditional - Those done using traditional inking Manga Traditional - Those done using traditional inking extensively Manga Digital - Those done using digital inking extensively Manga Mix - Those done using both - i.e. Traditional for lineart , digital for screentone. Comics Traditional - Those done using traditional inking extensively Comics Digital - Those done using digital inking extensively Comics Mix - Those done using both - i.e. Traditional for lineart , digital for screentone. Colored Traditional - Those done using traditional Colored Digital - Those done using Digital Colored Mix - Done using mix of both style Fan Art - All fanarts, colored or not Learning to Ink - Beginning and Learning work *Favorite collection will be reserve for tutorials.
